At the Butterfly Pavilion, visitors can see magnificent crawling and flying insects up close, from tarantulas and crabs to the graceful butterfly. The facility itself is surrounded by a natural habitat of gardens, wildflowers and prairie grass to attract local butterflies.
The indoor tropical forest is filled with over 1200 butterflies and more than 100 different species of plants. Kids in particular are fascinated by creepy crawlers and flying things and should get a kick out of this place. The Butterfly Pavilion has a gift shop carrying a wealth of items and the Butterfly Deli serves food and refreshments.
